You've done a great job, maybe do it all in BW wouldn't be that bad :) I especially like the theme.

I did try that, it looked a bit boring to me...

I did lower the saturation a LOT though, until it was something I was satisfied with :)

Aha OK then :) Have you tried to print it? I think it would be nice. By the way where did you get that whale? It is really nice stock.

Well if I'm honest... I didn't ask permission to use the image. And I was kind of claiming ignorance by not really checking where it came from D:

I know it's bad but I don't want to start claiming I asked for permission when I know full well I didn't. I think that's a little worse than the use of the images in the first place.

I believe it is from the work of Bryant Austin though, at [link] although that is not how I found it...

This is a really lovely concept, and very eye catching. The only suggestion i have for you to make the whale seem more like it belongs in the image is to add some orange lighting to its underside, since all the lights below have an orange tint to them. Other than that, I love it!

I think the whale is a little higher than that ;)

im not saying a lot of lighting, just like a lining or something - i could still be wrong. =)

Ahh well, I'm not going to change anything. It's not that I don't appreciate the suggestions but I just don't like editing pieces which I have considered finished!

Unfortunately, I also don't like to upload unfinished work XD

If ya made the "ground" more visible and lowered the level of lights down there, it would pass as apocalyptic art.

Well done. :iconimhappyplz:

Well I have an old idea of a penguin creature looking at a rabbit, with a nuclear explosion in the background... maybe I should revamp that one :P

Well, this piece more or less gives the effect that global warming has raised the level of water high enough for a whale to swim over the city. :S

The penguin being blown up is pretty common nowadays. Add a nuclear explosion in the background and put something cute in front is pretty much what you find in the DoomsdayNow favorite category.

Not to put you off from buying but it took me such a tiny amount of time XD I actually spent more time on the Orca one but that's probably because I knew what to do when it came to this one, basically just repeated myself.

Haha, that's awesome! Just means you took a talent, and you ran with it! ;] That's all. I wish I could do stuff like this, but I get frustrated so easily anymore these days with art. That's why my weapon of choice is a pencil! XD
